Branding Consultancy reorganization
The Client, Adabisc Qatar is a branding consultancy which had experienced considerable growth in its Middle Eastern market but was facing difficulties with client servicing efficiency, staff motivation and retention. Lonsdale Associates was initially approached with a brief to address skill shortages and train client services staff. Our audit of the company revealed the following organizational deficits:
  • Reluctance of senior management to delegate
  • Lack of clarity in job descriptions and organizational responsibilities
  • Insufficient skill sets in certain functions
  • Inefficient internal processes and channels of communication
Lonsdale Associates developed a symmetrical organizational structure, based on delegation and two way communication vertically and horizontally. Clear job definitions, appraisal system, lines of responsibility and reporting, aligned with company’s objectives were put in place. We set up a training programme covering technical and managerial skills for Client Service staff. The issue of senior executive micro-management and delegation was addressed through NLP based executive coaching sessions.

As a result, employees are now clear in their roles in the organization, have the skills to perform those roles, know their responsibilities, cooperate far more effectively with one another and are much better able to service clients. In turn this has freed the time of senior executives to concentrate on strategic management issues and business development which previously they were not able to do.

The company is now able to continue its growth path confident in its ability to achieve its objectives.
